Denver Park Enhancement Project

Join the DPR and the FANS of Wash Park for an Earth Day celebration! There will be lots of fun, sustainability-related activities and we will have supplies available to pick up litter around the park. What to Expect • At-Home Sustainability: Discover practical tips and tricks to reduce your carbon footprint, from reducing waste to energy-saving home upgrades. • Ecology & Conservation: Dive into the local ecosystem with expert-led guides to pollinators and native plants. • Arbor Day Tributes: Celebrate the vital role of trees in our urban forest and learn about proper planting and care to keep Denver green. • Historic Setting: Enjoy the festivities against the beautiful backdrop of the Washington Park Boathouse. • Kids' Activity: Plant seeds to take home and watch them grow! This will take place at the Boathouse!
