Native Restoration at Sanderson Gulch - planting!

  Sanderson Gulch

Open Space Stewardship Project

Help us restore our local waterways! We’re looking for volunteers to help plant native shrubs like chokecherry, American plum, and coyote willow along Sanderson Gulch. These plants have deep roots that stabilize streambanks, reduce erosion, filter runoff, and provide food and shelter for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife. Waders/boots and all planting materials, supplies and tools will be provided. Plants will be installed along water's edge so you may get muddy - wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty! Meet at W Gunnison and S Shoshone: https://maps.app.goo.gl/2PdGzBGCXKSU9LQu7
