Open Space Stewardship Project

Meeting point: Volunteers will meet Emily Zeller at the Lakewood Dry Gulch at the corner of Wolff and Wells at this map link. They can be reached at 847-830-0143. Parking: Street parking in the neighborhood Check street signs and do not park where “No Parking” signs are posted. Project Details: Activity: Plant cottonwood saplings along the waterway  Supplies Provided: All necessary supplies, except gloves. Bring Your Own: Gloves, water (jug/bottle/cups), sunscreen, hat, and sturdy footwear (no open-toe shoes). Bring waders if you have them and want to get in the water! Health & Safety Guidelines:Stay home if you’re feeling unwell (fever, cough, shortness of breath).Those at higher health risk (immunocompromised) are encouraged to stay home.

Maximum Participants: 15
