Open Space Stewardship Project
MEET HERE: https://maps.app.goo.gl/1dy8Kp3LwLYVhrPMA We will meet at the intersection of Tennyson with Lakewood Gulch Trail (just East of the Nettie Moore Playground and DUG garden). This project will involve planting native shrubs along the shoreline of the gulch to enhance habitat and provide fruiting shrubs for wildlife. If you have muck boots and you want to get into the gulch please bring those, but we will have some waders/boots available to borrow as well. We are partnering with West Colfax Neighborhood group and the Gulch Garbage Grabbers as well as Villa Park for this project. Anyone is welcome to join! DPR will provide the plant material and tools for the task. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty! Difficulty level: Moderate
