Volunteer Lead
- Description:
Volunteer Leads assist Denver Parks staff with leading volunteer events. These volunteers play a vital role in volunteer events running smoothly. They may help with checking in other volunteers, directing volunteers where to go, or leading groups on park maintenance tasks.
Volunteer leads will be trained on safety and proper tool use, and will be trained on specific park maintenance tasks as needed.
- Requirements:
- Must have participated as a volunteer on at least 1 prior DPR volunteer event
- Expectations:
- Must apply as a "Volunteer Lead" and sign up for any events you want to work
- Must be able to enter your hours into GoDenverParks system
- Must have reliable transportation to the project site
- Be willing to show up 15-30 minutes early for a volunteer event
